- Human Society and Its Environment - by offering taste lessons on ethnic foods and how a food is grown or produced.
- Creative Arts - art and photographic competitions on taste and food themes will encourage children to communicate their understanding of taste through artistic expression.
- Personal Development, Health and Physical Education - taste lessons provided by chefs, food producers and nutritionists will be taught on the importance food has in providing a healthy, balanced wellbeing.
- English - poetry and essay competitions will allow students to express their feelings and experiences of taste through the written word.
- Mathematics - restaurants and culinary schools provide a setting for students to measure, cook and taste.
- Science and Technology - taste lessons presented by chefs, food producers and teachers introduce the science of taste.
Lesson Presenters are given the opportunity to present their food and knowledge directly to children.
